Editorial and affiliate policy

How VietSIM chooses what to publish, how partner links and commissions are disclosed, and the rules our pages follow so that readers can trust them.

Independence

VietSIM belongs to no mobile carrier, eSIM seller or travel company. No carrier or partner sees a page before it is published, and none can pay to be placed higher, described more favourably or have a plan removed.

  • Some links on this site are partner links, and some plans in the coming catalogue will carry a partner registration code. When you buy or register through them, VietSIM earns a commission from the carrier or seller.
  • The price you pay never changes because of a partner link. Where a partner price differs from the public price, we say so.
  • A plan is listed because it exists and its facts are verified, not because it pays a commission. Plans without any partner arrangement are listed with the same fields and in the same order rules as those with one.
  • Partner links are marked as such on the page, and this policy is linked from the footer of every page.

How plans are ordered and labelled

  • The store orders plans by trip length, then by price per day. The label “least per day in this group” is calculated from the prices on the page; it is a fact about those plans, not a recommendation.
  • We do not call any plan, carrier or seller the best, the cheapest overall or number one. Where a choice depends on your trip, the page says what the difference is and lets you decide.

What we publish and what we leave out

  • A fact is published when we have seen it in our product data, in the carrier’s own publication or on a real line. Otherwise the page says the fact is unconfirmed or leaves it out.
  • Every page shows a date: “prices checked” on the store, “last checked” on help articles, “last updated” on policies.
  • Reviews and ratings on this site are collected from customers after a purchase. We do not invent testimonials and we do not buy reviews.
  • Copy in every language is written for that language and checked for consistency with the facts shared across all languages. If a translation and the facts ever disagree, the facts page wins and the translation is corrected.

Corrections

Errors are corrected on the page, and pages that change materially get a new “last updated” date. Write to [email protected] with the page link and what is wrong; we reply within 14 days.
