Khanh Hoa tourism department reported in October 2025 that immigration at Cam Ranh congests at peak hours, especially with charter tour groups from South Korea and China, and that bags from international flights arriving at peak hours come out slowly.

  • In 2025, 22 international airlines flew to Cam Ranh, about 70 flights a day, from markets including South Korea, China, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia and Central Asia.
  • Since 12 October 2026, Resolution 325/NQ-CP lets Chinese tour groups of two or more enter without a visa for up to 30 days on a package tour run by a Vietnamese international travel company. They must fly direct from mainland China to Cam Ranh, stay in Khanh Hoa and leave through Cam Ranh. The pilot runs to 31 December 2027.
