The border gate you arrive at and the one you leave from. The approval names the gate, so it has to match.

The hotel, homestay or host address for your first nights. A booking confirmation is enough.

Which passports do not need a visa for Vietnam?
Chile and Panama get 90 days. The 45-day list covers most of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea and Russia. The 30-day list covers Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and others. Everyone else uses the e-visa, and the full list is on the visa guide.
How much does a Vietnam e-visa cost?
The government fee is 25 US dollars for a single entry and 50 for multiple entries, for a stay of up to 90 days. VietSIM charges a service fee on top, stated before you pay. Fast track is priced separately, per airport and per direction.
Can I apply for an e-visa if I am already in Vietnam?
No. An application submitted while the applicant is inside Vietnam is refused, whatever the entry point on the form says. Apply before you fly, and use a different route if you are already in the country.
What photo and passport files do you need?

Do Indian passport holders need a visa for Vietnam?
Yes. India is not on the visa-free lists, so an Indian passport uses the e-visa: 25 US dollars for a single entry and 50 for multiple entries, for a stay of up to 90 days. Vietnam has issued e-visas to every nationality since 15 August 2023, and VietSIM submits the application for you.
What should Indian travellers prepare for a Vietnam e-visa?
A passport valid for at least six months, a portrait photograph and the passport data page, and the dates and the gate you will arrive at. The desk asks for the two images over its own secure link once your file is open. The India visa guide and the trip cost guide cover the rest.
Do you handle business e-visas?
Yes. Choose the business purpose and add the company details. The e-visa is issued for business travel, and the applicant still needs a passport valid for at least six months.
Can an agency apply on behalf of a client?
Yes. A partner account gives net rates, one form per applicant, a copy button for groups, live order status and a support contact. Ask for the account with the partner form and we send the credentials.
How do I check the status of my application?
The desk emails you when the file is checked, when it is submitted and when the e-visa is issued. Reply to any of those emails and a person answers within one working day; a traveller application has no portal to log into.
Is this the official Vietnam visa website?
No. VietSIM is a commercial service company: it is not a government body and this is not a government website. The e-visa is issued by the Vietnam Immigration Department, through the portal at evisa.gov.vn, and the government fee is paid to them.
What is airport fast track in Vietnam?
A staff member meets the passenger at the airport and walks them through the priority lane where the airport has one. It shortens the queue, it does not replace a visa, and it does not change the immigration decision. Nobody can promise a clearance time.
