Visa and airport services in Vietnam

Apply for your Vietnam e-visa

Three steps, like the form the immigration department uses: your details, the applicants, then a review of what you have entered. Nothing is charged here; the desk confirms the fees by email first.

The approved e-visa arrives by email

Before you start

These are the immigration department's rules, and the ones we submit your application under. Read them once, then tick the two boxes.

  1. Apply from outside Vietnam. An application filed while you are in Vietnam is refused.
  2. Copy your passport exactly. Name, dates and passport number must match it letter for letter.
  3. Some trips need extra papers. Work, study, investment, legal, religious, journalistic, healthcare or education trips need the document Vietnamese law asks for (a work permit or exemption, an acceptance letter, proof of investment, a licence or a permit), and your stated purpose must match what you will do.
  4. Use the gate you name. An e-visa works only at the border gates on the government's approved list, and only at the gate named in this application.
  5. Children under 14. On the applicant's passport, they are part of the same application. With their own passport, they need their own application.
  6. Photos and contact details. Before we submit we ask for a portrait photo (JPG under 2 MB, plain white background, face to the camera) and the passport data page (square to the frame, every corner visible), plus your address and phone number in Vietnam.
  7. No refund if refused. If the application is refused, neither the government fee nor our service fee is returned.
  8. Vietnam time. Every date and time on this form, and in our replies, is Vietnam time (UTC+7).

Fast track and notes

Skip the queue

A VietSIM officer meets you at the gate and walks you past the queues. Immigration only takes you through passport control, full support adds baggage and customs, and the CIP lounge adds a separate lane and lounge at Tan Son Nhat.

Fast track is charged with the visa, per traveller, and the desk confirms it with your file.

Review and payment

Step 4 of 4

Review and payment

Read it back, then pay. The name, the passport number and the dates are what the immigration department checks, and the card is charged once, when you send the application.

Review and payment

The total includes the government fee and the VietSIM service fee, per applicant. Payment starts the application; once paid, neither fee can be refunded.
